29th Summer Festival

Bogotá is already in the countdown to the 29th edition of the Summer Festival, the event organized by the District Institute of Recreation and Sport (IDRD) that, from July 31 to August 31, 2026, will bring together thousands of people around physical activity, recreation, sports, and community gathering.

For a month, parks, sports venues, and public spaces in the capital will host a program with more than 60 events and activities aimed at children, young people, families, athletes, visitors, and the general public.

Summer Concert

One of the most anticipated events will be the Summer Concert, scheduled for August 1 at the Events Plaza of the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park. The day will bring together artists such as Calibre 50, Luister La Voz, Proyecto A, Jhon Onofre, and other guests, in a free show combining live music, entertainment, and the festive atmosphere of the festival.

History

Since 1997, the Summer Festival has become one of the most important public events in Bogotá, promoting the use and appropriation of parks, sports venues, and public spaces. Each edition brings together free activities that encourage physical activity, coexistence, and well-being.
